April 14: The Sonics are eagerly awaiting their first pick in the draft, and much speculation has been made as to who they will choose. Insiders report that they would like to build the team around an up and coming guard, but only time will tell.
April 13: The FNBA draft began today and the Phoenix Sun's #1 pick was Tim Duncan. The draft will consist of 10 rounds with 20 teams. The Seattle Sonics got the #18 pick in the draft and GM/Owner John Mathwig was quite pleased with the outcome.
April 12: The Seattle Sonics are happy to announce that Nate McMillain has been chosen as their head coach with Freddie Brown and Jack Sikma as assistants. The Sonics will be playing in the Key Arena, a state of the art basketball arena which the fans love.
